By the end of June, Allies were in firm control of Normandy, and on August 25, Paris was liberated by the French Resistance with help from the French Forces of the Interior and the U.S. After several days of intense warfare, Allied troops gained tenuous holds on several beaches, and they were able to dig in with reinforcements and bombardment. Some 156,000 troops landed on the French beaches, 24,000 by air and the rest by sea, where they met stiff resistance from well-defended German positions across 50 miles of French coastline. Nearly 200,000 Allied troops boarded 7,000 ships and more than 3,000 aircraft and headed toward Normandy. Two days later on D-Day, the largest amphibious invasion in history took place. After several major offensives, the Allies broke through and captured Rome on June 4, 1944. The Italian government (having recently ousted Prime Minister Benito Mussolini) quickly signed an armistice with the Allies - but German forces dug in and set up massive defensive lines across Italy, prepared to halt any armed push to the north. The push into Italy began in Sicily, but soon made it to the Italian mainland, with landings in the south. Starting with the Invasion of Sicily in July of 1943, and culminating in the June 6, 1944, D-Day invasion of Normandy, Allied forces took the fight to the Axis powers in many locations across Western Europe.

You should see FNIS.ini listed here so select it and find this line: Double click the FNIS mod again and go to the INI Files tab. Double click the FNIS mod, go to the Filetree tab, rename FNIS.ini0 to FNIS.ini, and click Close. Name this mod something like FNIS_Output and make sure it's unchecked - this FNIS_Output mod must not be active (checked) when you run GenerateFNISForUsers. When you install FNIS in Mod Organizer, right click on Overwrite and select All Mods / Create Empty Mod. Mod Organizer must not be installed in the Steam or game folder or you may run into a folder recursion issue with UVFS. I don't know how you have Mod Organizer and FNIS configured, so these are general recommendations/requirements. Under ideal conditions, however, the growth rate can actually be raised even beyond 100%, allowing the plant to grow and produce resources much faster than it normally would under basic conditions. Your goal should be to get the growth rate up to at least 100% (standard growth), but you'll usually be fine if you can get it above 85%. The latter three things affect a plant's growth rate - a percentage amount that you can see in each plant's info box. What Goes into Growing a Plant in RimWorld?Ī couple things, actually, and they are all equally important. Planting them isn't really the difficult part though. You can then have your colonists plant all manner of seeds there. Simply go to the Zone/Area tab, select Growing Area, and highlight the dirt that you would like to be turned into soil. The base game gives you all the seeds you need right from the start - you only need some sort of dirt to plant them in. What Do I Need to Plant Crops in RimWorld? Now sit back, relax, and let's get started. Just follow our helpful farming guide and soon you'll be keeping your plants happy and your colonists happier.
